Pontarddulais and District u3a is part of an international organisation for anyone, of any age who does not work full time, to share in educational, creative and leisure activities.  Run by volunteers for volunteers, promoting wellbeing, friendship and opportunities to learn.  Members organise a range of interest groups where participants learn from each other, for the joy of discovery not qualification, in a friendly informal atmosphere. The success of each u3a is that they draw on the knowledge, expertise and skills of their members and this is our aspiration too, here in South Wales. Members share new experiences, from art and nature, to local history, wine tasting and gardening, amongst a friendly, welcoming community.
